We had a very special visit yesterday, and it was a very proud day for Braybrook!
Earlier this year we began working as part of the PINS project (Partnership for the Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools), further developing our school to be inclusive for all pupils, including those who are neurodiverse.
Because of the work we had done, we were recommended by the local authority to showcase our school to the national team, and yesterday welcomed 16 visitors including Dame Christine Lenehan, the government's strategic advisor for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), to tour Braybrook and see how we have been supporting all of our children.
We were extremely proud to share the work out teachers, TAs and children had done, and they were incredibly impressed with our school - so a very proud day to put Braybrook on the national map!
