Reach for the stars!

march 2024

March, marked our first ever school trip. We visited Hammerton Zoo and used this as a springboard for our new topic, 'Our Wonderful World.' It was great to reinforce our learning about transport during the coach journey. We identified many different types of vehicle on the road and spoke about the different parts of the coach. Once we got to the zoo, we looked at some animals up close as part of a special workshop. We then spent lots of time wandering around the zoo looking at the wonderful array of animals.

We also took part in National Science Week. We invited our adults into school for a special science afternoon. We had lots of science-themed experiments set up both inside and outside. We valued the opportunity to have our adults in school.
