Class Dojo

We use Class Dojo to communicate important information pertaining to the class and also the wider school. We also use the messaging tool in order to communicate directly with parents when this is necessary and appropriate.  We also use this to share our amazing learning experiences!

Physical Education

We do P.E every Wednesday. Children can come to school wearing their school P.E kit and they will remain in their P.E kit for the remainder of the day. Parents and children are reminded that appropriate sports footwear must be worn and any earrings removed prior to the children coming to school. Stud earring are permitted, however they must be taped over.

Homework and Reading

Homework is sent out every Wednesday and consists of a phonics practise sheet. Children are further expected to engage in daily reading practise using their phonics home readers and also share reading for pleasure stories with parents/carers.   Reading remains a key priority and all reads should be recorded in their reading diary. Phonics books will be changed every Friday and we swap reading for pleasure books in the library every Thursday.
