Year 4 have had a fantastic week! In English, we have been exploring Arthur and the Golden Rope, focusing on the speech between Arthur and Thor. The children have enjoyed identifying the features of dialogue and have had a go at writing their own conversations. In Maths, we have been developing our understanding of place value. The children have been practising counting in thousands and partitioning numbers up to 10,000. In History, we have continued our learning about Ancient Egypt, building on our knowledge and understanding of this fascinating civilisation.

The children have worked incredibly hard across all areas of the curriculum this week, and I have been very impressed with their enthusiasm, effort and determination. Well done, Year 4!
