At Braybrook Primary Academy, we believe that the partnership between home and school is critical in supporting every child to succeed and in best preparing them for the challenges of Secondary School and life beyond.

Expectations for weekly homework is below

• EYFS – reading at home x 5 per week; Little Wandle home learning sheet; fortnightly Learn with Parents activity/play pack
• Year 1 reading for a minimum of 10 mins x 5; Little Wandle home learning sheet; and 30 minutes learning on NumBots per week.  Some weeks, Learn with Parents tasks will be set (and will be communicated by class teacher)
• Year 2 - reading for a minimum of 10 mins x 5; spellings to learn and practise; and 30 minutes learning on Numbots per week
• Year 3 - reading for a minimum of 15 mins x 5; 30 minutes on TT Rock Stars and/or a times tables activity; spellings to practise and learn
• Year 4 - reading for a minimum of 15 mins x 5; 30 minutes on TT Rock Stars and/or a times tables sheet/activity; spellings to practise and learn
• Year 5 - reading for a minimum of 20 mins x 5; task on maths.co.uk and 15 minutes on TT Rock Stars; spellings to practise and learn
• Year 6 - reading for a minimum of 20 mins x 5; task on maths.co.uk and 15 minutes on TT Rock Stars; spellings to practise and learn

There is a free after-school club to support with homework, and daily drop-in clubs (such as TT Rock Stars club) should your child prefer to do the learning at school.
