Welcome to the Opal Class page (Year 2).

The class teacher is Mrs Clark, who is supported by Miss Cliffe.

As the oldest class in Key Stage One, we strive to be role models to the younger children in our school. Our Year 2 curriculum is full of many exciting and engaging learning experiences. Our children are at the centre of everything we do.

We offer family reading sessions on Tuesday and Thursday morning, and love to welcome grown-ups in to read with their children. We promote a 'love of reading' and children benefit and enjoy from our reading initiatives such as listening to books from our focus authors, listening to a surprise reader and enjoying many rewards.

The REACH values are embedded within everything we do, encouraging children to be responsible citizens.
